The smooth running of the Brewerville Vocational School and highly successful compeletion by 30 women of their nine months of learning batik and tailoring. In February 2008 the class had their graduation ceremonies at Brewerville City Hall with family, friends and Government guests included. The students have taken their sewing machines home and formed small groups that share a kiosk for selling the clothes they make. We praise God for a recent gift of $10,000.00 for chairs and treadle sewing machines for the next Tailoring/Batik class. This is being organzied now. (May 2008) |

Urgent need for audio visual equipment for showing Jesus Film in outlying villages. WE COULD BUY OUR OWN EQUIPMENT OR CONTINUE TO RENT FROM CAMPUS CRUSADE, BUT IT IS BETTER STEWARDSHIP OF DONATIONS IF WE CAN BUY AND STOP RENTING. (Cost estimate $1,500.00Monthly Sponsorship for the Executive Director.

PASTOR ERIC WILL BE IN CHICAGO IN AUGUST/SEPT 2010 SPEAKING TO FUNDRAISE AND TAKING APPOINTMENTS WITH BUSINESSES TO SEEK CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP FOR THE MINISTRY. PLEASE PRAY FOR A GOOD OUTCOME TO TAKE THE MINISTRY TO A NEW LEVEL. HE IS STILL IN NEED OF PARTIAL AIRFARE
PRAYER FOR HELEN AS SHE SPEAKS TO VARIOUS CHURCH AND SERVICE GROUPS ABOUT VILLAGE MINISTRY PROGRESS AND NEEDS. WE NEED A GENEROUS RESPONSE TO ENABLE VILLAGE MINISTRIES TO REACH OUT TO LIBERIA. WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT FINANCIAL SUPPORT.
GRADUATION FOR STUDENTS IN TAILORING, COSMETOLOGY AND PASTRY MAKING WILL TAKE PLACE IN OCTOBER 2010. WE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THEM A CEREMONY AND CELEBRATION.ONCE AGAIN, WE PRAY FOR THEIR ETERNAL SALVATION AND SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION TO A SMALL BUSINESS. |
